We are home to 1700 students from 40 nationalities. We are inclusive and celebrate our diversity by welcoming students of all faiths.
We receive no government funding, but are committed to offering a high-quality education, through our Scholarship Programme, regardless of a student’s ability to pay. We also have a Building Fund to allow us to continue offering first-class facilities to support students’ learning. We can do all this only because of the generosity of our supporters.
Thank you for your interest in donating to SJI International. We are self-sustaining and rely on our community of supporters to continue our mission of providing a world-class education to students regardless of financial background. All money we receive through this donation page will go to the SJI International Scholarship Fund.
Through the strong philanthropic support given to the school, we have been able to move from excellent to exceptional. We provide education to bright underprivileged students through our Scholarship Fund, and through our Building Fund we have been able to expand our facilities to deliver a world-class experience.
Through the Scholarship Fund, we will continue to offer Scholarships to attract the best students from Singapore and the region regardless of their financial background. Gifts to the Scholarship Fund will allow us to extend the financial aid programme to every student who needs it. This will ensure that our community is built around the brightest minds – as it should be – to help maintain our unique value proposition:

Thanks to the astounding generosity of our supporters, in 2015 we raised an amazing total of $2,700,000 for the Scholarship Programme and the Building Fund.
We have now launched our Annual Giving Appeal 2016 and are looking forward to eclipsing the record set last year! The financial support we received last year was outstanding, and we need your help again. The success of the Annual Giving Appeal is more than simply financial, although that is certainly important – but we would like to reach 100% participation from all the stakeholders of the School. With a top rate of participation, we can confidently approach organisations for Corporate Sponsorship. They are impressed if our stakeholders are uniformly impressed.
A gift to our Scholarship & Bursary Fund supports all of our students, not just our Scholars; bringing students from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures together fosters a diverse community that enriches the learning experience, stretches personal convictions, and challenges stereotypes – students become more empathetic to the challenges facing others and appreciate their own opportunities.
Our goal is that all students at SJI International will gradually learn, think and act as true Lasallians, fully aware of their own gifts and also sensitive to the needs of others. The need and the opportunity to help are always present. Similarly, the funding of Scholarships is always a challenge. We urge you to make this fund a philanthropic priority.
Through the Scholarship & Bursaries Fund, we will continue to offer Scholarships to attract the best students from Singapore and the region, regardless of their financial background. We seek to increase this provision so as to benefit an even greater number of young people. And gifts to the Scholarship Fund will ensure that our community is built around the brightest minds. If you have any queries or would like further information please contact the Advancement and Communications Office.
We thank all who have so readily responded to our Appeal; your continued support for the School and all it hopes to achieve is greatly appreciated.
We are a non-profit school that relies solely on tuition fees and the generosity of its Old Boys, parents and supporters. It is this partnership that enables us to continue to provide our students with a holistic Lasallian education which is much in demand and is hugely respected.
Your contribution to the Annual Giving Appeal is the most important gift you can make to the School. It is a vitally important source of revenue that makes the difference between an excellent and an exceptional education. Gifts to the Annual Giving Appeal will allow the School to provide extraordinary opportunities for learning and growth and to be able to meet emerging needs and challenges. Your support for the Annual Giving Appeal will enable the School to offer initiatives and materials beyond the operating budget, in order to provide enrichment for both students and teachers.
The Singapore Government allows 250% tax deductibility for all donations made by individuals and organisations. If the allowable tax deduction exceeds your income, you may carry forward unused deductions for up to five years. The administration is handled by the school and all you need to do is complete the Annual Giving form or inform us directly. We will forward the gift details to IRAS and the appropriate deduction will be automatically included in your tax assessment.

Through the Annual Giving Appeal we seek financial support on an annual basis from a supportive constituency. We use the Appeal to establish and foster a culture of philanthropy that is donor relationship-centred.
We will apply the funds raised through the Annual Giving Appeal (as per your instruction) to either the Scholarship & Bursary Fund or the Building & Development Fund.
Through the Scholarship & Bursary Fund, we will continue to offer Scholarships to attract the best students from Singapore and the region, regardless of their financial background.
Gifts to the Scholarship Fund will allow us to extend the financial aid programme to every student who needs it. This will ensure that our community is built around the brightest minds – as it should be – to help maintain our unique value proposition: from excellent to exceptional.
The Building & Development Fund provides us with funds for future building or expansion needs while retiring the remaining debt. Your contribution to the Building Fund will help ensure that our buildings and facilities continue to provide the best possible educational experience for our students.
Every gift counts. Even a small increase in the percentage of participation can have a big impact in securing additional gifts. When you take part, you inspire others to follow your example. This helps unlock more financial aid because one gift leads to another. When seeking grants from Foundations they want to be assured that we are widely supported by our own alumni, parents, teachers and staff.
When you give, you’re part of what makes the School great. That, in turn, increases the value of the education provided at the School. Even more importantly, you become part of something larger than yourself. At the same time, the School continues to offer tuition fees that are lower than many of its peers.
Raising the tuition fees would exclude many talented students from our School.
Every dollar counts and your participation is as important to us as your gift. There are several ways you can support the Annual Giving Appeal. You don’t have to make a one-time, lump sum payment. You can pledge a small monthly sum to the Annual Giving Appeal if that is more convenient for you. We are not expecting you to make a gift beyond your means, but we certainly welcome your participation. All we ask is that you take part.
As we enhance our opportunities, programmes and benefits, we enhance the reputation of the School in the field of international education. As a former student and parent you benefit from that enhanced reputation; together we can build a lasting legacy.
Yes. Donations to the Annual Giving Appeal provide the greatest flexibility for us to meet our most pressing needs. Your gifts are a significant and vital source of support. Every gift does count!
We do not receive any funding from the Government and therefore we have to rely on contributions from the community.
Yes, if you pay Singapore tax the full value of your gift is 250% tax-deductible.
Please give as much as you feel comfortable giving. Recent graduates might be comfortable starting with small gifts, while more established parents are often glad to take a leadership role by giving a large sum that will provide for several students and encourage other donors to follow their generous example in years to come. In the end, every gift, big or small, makes a difference.
